How far in advance should I book?

In order to ensure we can find a date to schedule a session, plan to book at least 2-3 months in advance. If you'd like to schedule a session in a shorter time period don't hesitate to ask, as last minute bookings are sometimes available!

What are your pricing/package options?

This all depends on the type of session you’re interested in. Head to my “contact” page to submit an inquiry. If you’re inquiring for a senior session, wedding, or engagement, I’ll send you a photography guide that’s packed with relevant information, including pricing and packages!

Do your wedding packages include an engagement session?

I book my engagement sessions separately from my wedding packages. If you’re interested in having your engagement photos taken by me, make sure to mark that you’re interested in both wedding and engagement coverage on my inquiry form and I’ll send you additional information!

How do I choose a location?

If there's a spot you're dying to shoot at, feel free to let me know! If you're not sure where you'd like to take photos, we'll figure out your style together and I'll help you decide the best locations to visit. I have plenty of favorite spots around the Twin Cities and can send you my location guide to give you some ideas!

What is the payment process?

I am unsure of how many hours of coverage I will need on my wedding day. What’s your recommendation?

During your initial consult I’ll be happy to guide you through the process of deciding which package is right for you! In my initial response to your inquiry, you’ll also get a wedding guide packed with details on timeline planning and choosing a package.

If I'm having my senior photos done, should my parents come to the session?

It's not required to have a parent attend, but they are more than welcome to join us! I always recommend that you do whatever will make you feel the most comfortable, whether that’s coming alone, with a parent, or with a friend.

How many outfits can I bring to a senior session?

This depends on which type of session you book, so send me a message and let’s talk senior portrait packages!

Where will I change my outfit?

Don't worry, you won't have to change in your car. I'll take a pop-up changing tent with us to each spot we visit so you're able to switch outfits comfortably.

Are the digital files included in the session fee?

All edited digital files are included in the session fee and will be given to you through a gallery online.

How long until we see the photos?

This depends on the type of session you’re interested in. Wedding couples, expect to see your entire gallery online within 8-9 weeks. For all other sessions, you’ll see your gallery within about 3 weeks.

Do you sell prints of the photos?

When you receive your digital photos, you will also receive a photo release form. This means you'll be able to take the digital files wherever you'd like to make prints on your own! If you’d like to purchase prints directly from your gallery for added convenience, I can walk you through that process as well.

Who will my second photographer be?

If you book a package with a second photographer, you will find out who that person is roughly 1-2 months before the wedding date. Due to the fact that I work with other photographers who also book their own weddings, it takes time to finalize this detail because there’s always the possibility that they may not be available on your date. For this reason, I keep a list with a handful of contacts so that I can ensure there will always be someone available to photograph your wedding day with me!

How far are you willing to travel for a session?

If you'd like to have your session outside of the Twin Cities area, please send me a message! I’m available for travel, and can send you information on my travel rates.
